Honda’s Fastport eQuad Wins ‘Best of the Best’ at 2025 Red Dot Awards
Honda has won multiple accolades at the 2025 Red Dot Design Awards, with its Fastport eQuad securing the prestigious Best of the Best title in the Design Concept category. Additionally, the company’s EV Fun Concept and EV Urban Concept received Red Dot winner recognition.

Often regarded as the “Oscars of the design world,” the Red Dot Award honours excellence in design and engineering innovation. The EV Fun and EV Urban concepts, first showcased at the Milan Motor Show, represent Honda’s early-stage electric two-wheeler developments. The EV Fun Concept, slated for production, will feature a fixed battery, a slim, manoeuvrable frame, and a minimalist aesthetic paired with mid-powered performance.

The award-winning Fastport eQuad is a single-rider electric delivery vehicle built from the ground up. It integrates pedal-assist electric propulsion with an innovative pedal-by-wire system, transmitting rider input electronically to drive the wheels. Designed for use in bike lanes, it features a translucent cargo box and a glass windshield to enhance rider and pedestrian visibility while reducing visual mass.

Honda plans to begin production of the Fastport eQuad in the US by summer 2026, further solidifying its commitment to sustainable, functional, and aesthetically refined mobility solutions.
